The IMX-Pro line from G. Loomis is full of great options for anglers. These are are the supplements where a true "technique specific" rod is required.
Carolina Rig Rod (CRR): This rod is a 7' 3" Heavy power, however it has a soft tip. Dragging the Carolina Rig often entails a long leader, making it very cumbersome to get long distance casts. G. Loomis has solved this by creating a perfect action on the rod and adding a slightly longer handle that provides extra casting leverage.
Swimbait Rod (SWBR): The IMX-Pro Swimbait rod is designed for fishing a variety of swimbaits. The moderate-fast action allows for the rod to load up and keeps fished hooked, even when they jump boat side. Glidebaits, line throughs, or paddle tails can all be fished effectively.
Jerkbait Rod (JBR): The Jerkbait rod from the IMX-Pro line is specifically designed to give the lure optimal action underwater. The fast action and short length allow anglers to jerk the rod and make the bait dart side-to-side very erratically, causing lethargic fish to lash out.
Umbrella Rig Rod (UBR): The Umbrella Rig Rod is designed to throw a wide range of umbrella rigs. By having a longer handle, anglers have more leverage when launching such a large contraption as far as possible. Getting the bait infront of the fish is crucial, so casting as far as possible is the best way to cover water.
Topwater Rod (TWR): When fishing small topwater baits, such as a Pop-R or a torpedo, the right rod is critical. This rod is not too stiff nor too soft, it is right in the middle. The tip section is soft, allowing you to make short and accurate casts to brush, docks, or whatever kind of cover you find yourself in.
