Rebellion rods embody the idea of pushing outside of the norm. Designed and crafted with the looks, specs and features of custom high end rods, yet priced affordably- these rods step outside the norms of the typical bass rods. All models feature Daiwa's Braiding-X technology to prevent torsion caused by casting and hooksets, and dramatically improve power, operability and sensitivity. Also equipped with Daiwa's X45 Technology, these rods are designed using a 45 degree bias construction that prevents twisting of the blank for greater strength, sensitivity and hook setting power. In contrast to standard carbon rods, which have a higher resin content in the space between the carbon fibers, HVF (High Volume Fiber) rods such as these are made of a carbon fiber compound with less resin. By reducing the amount of resin in the blank, the rods are lighter and more sensitive. Adding to the list of high end technologies, the Rebellion rods feature Daiwa's Air Sensor reel seat. This reel seat is built using a carbon fiber material to maximize sensitivity and power, while reducing overall weight. Available in a range of actions and lengths to cover many techniques, the Rebellion line is ready to defy your expectations of what an affordable rod can be. Step outside of the norm and join the Rebellion.

Daiwa Rebellion Casting Rod Features:
  • Braiding X: Daiwa's latest carbon technology, Braiding X is a low resin, high strength, reduced weight, high density carbon weave that creates a blank that has maximum density, yet is super light, sensitive, and highly responsive.
  • X45: Developed to eliminate blank twist and increase power, X45 features a Bias Wrap Construction, left/right 45-degree carbon weave within the blank. X45 radically improves rod strength and durability by eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round form. The elimination of twist allows for a lighter, stronger, more powerful, and more sensitive rod.
